Andrew Dorff, een bekende en onderscheiden country songwriter, is op 40-jarige leeftijd overleden. Hij was songwriter voor de Universal Music Publishing Group en kwam in 2003 naar Nashville om zich te focussen op fulltime songwriting.
Bekende songs van Dorff zijn o.a. “My Eyes” en “Neon Light” (Blake Shelton), “Save It For A Rainy Day” (Kenny Chesney), “Somebody’s Heartbreak” (Hunter Hayes) en “Missing” (William Michael Morgan).
In een verklaring noemt Universal Music Publishing Group Andrew Dorff: “a man with a heart of gold and an unparalleled talent for songwriting”.
