Het album “Outlaw: Celebrating the Music Of Waylon Jennings” met medewerking van Chris Stapleton, Shooter Jennings, Jessi Colter, Bobby Bare, Lee Ann Womack, Buddy Miller, Sturgill Simpson, Kacey Musgrave, Jamey Johnson, Robert Earl Keen, Kris Kristofferson, Ryan Bingham, Alison Krauss, Toby Keith, Eric Church en Willie Nelson is vanaf 7 april verkrijgbaar op het Sony Legacy label.

De opnames zijn op 6 juli 2015 gemaakt in Austin, Texas, waar een groot aantal artiesten aanwezig was om het leven van Waylon Jennings te vieren. Don Was en Buddy Cannon waren de co-music directors bij dit concert.

“Waylon Jennings was my friend, brother, and musical soul mate”, said Willie Nelson. “Playing his songs with these incredible artists, is going to be one hell of a concert event”.
