Van country nieuwkomer singer/songwriter Parker McCollum wordt op 30 juli het album “Gold Chain Cowboy” uitgebracht. Alle 10 songs zijn geschreven of medegeschreven door Parker.

Co-schrijvers zijn onder meer de producer van het album, Jon Randall, plus favorieten uit Texas, zoals Randy Rogers en Wade Bowen. Legendarische songwriters zoals Tony Lane en Rhett Akins werden ook ingeschakeld voor het project, en zelfs Brian Kelley van Florida Georgia Line, aangezien McCollum lijkt voort te bouwen op het vroege succes.

De singer-songwriter had een nummer 1 hit met zijn platina-gecertificeerde “Pretty Heart” in 2019. Dat nummer staat op “Gold Chain Cowboy”, net als zijn huidige radiosingle “To Be Loved By You”. En bij de aankondiging van het album heeft McCollum ook nog een rauwe en reflectieve ballad uitgebracht, “Rest Of My Life”.
