Dierks Bentley brengt op 8 juni het album “The Mountain” uit. Op het album staan 13 tracks i.s.m. Brothers Osborne, Brandi Carlile en de wereldberoemde bluegrass muzikanten Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas en Tim O’Brien.
Dierks heeft 10 van de 13 songs op het album medegeschreven en de stijl varieert van gestructureerde rock naar akoestische folk.
“For me it’s the best of both worlds, and it feels like something new. It’s powerful but also happy, with acoustic sensibility mixed in with the big sounds I like to have for the road,” Bentley added. “They are the songs I’d play for somebody to say, ‘This is who I am right now.’”
