Van de canadese singer/songwriter Melanie Brulée wordt op 19 oktober het album “Fires, Floods & Things We Leave Behind” uitgebracht. Melanie schreef de songs tijdens een 10-daagse reis langs de historische Route 66, een reis met vrienden die haar schrijversblok hielpen opheffen.
“This album is meant to be listened to like a soundscape to a imaginary film that will guide you from Nashville to Vegas through desert canyons, into Western ghost towns, while sleeping in dingy motels and stopping at strange truck stops along the way,” she explains. “Maybe you’ll take them on your own road trip; they’d love that.”
