Van George Strait wordt op 29 maart het album “Honky Tonk Time Machine” uitgebracht. Op George’s 30^ste studio album staan 13 songs waaronder 12 nieuwe en een cover van Johnny Paycheck’s “Old Violin”. De songs zijn medegeschreven door George, Dean Dillon en George’s zoon Bubba.  Aan het album is meegewerkt door Willie Nelson in het duet “Sing One With Willie” en George’s kleinzoon Harvey in “God And Country Music”.

“Codigo” en “God And Country Music” werden al eerder uitgebracht als single.

“I’m really excited to have some new music coming out,” says George. “It’s been about two years since I’ve released a record. It was great writing with Bubba and Dean again and creating such a beautiful song with Bubba and Jeff Hyde. Also, it was a very special thing for me to be able to write and sing one with the legend Willie Nelson. I hope everyone enjoys listening to Honky Tonk Time Machine as much as I enjoyed making it.”
