Kelsea Ballerini werd dinsdagavond uitgenodigd om lid te worden van The Opry. Little Big Town sloot de avond in The Opry af en nodigde Kelsea, die haar optreden eerder had beëindigd, om samen met LBT hun hit “Girl Crush” te zingen. De band veranderde de laatste regel van de song in “Kelsea Ballerini, do you wanna join the Opry?”
“Yes!” Ballerini replied, after a few moments of stunned silence. “I’m gonna pass out I think … To be on this stage is the greatest gift in the world. This is the home of country music, and I get to be a part of it.”
Kelsea wordt officieel op 16 april bevestigd als lid.
